Our Story
Founded in 2021 with a vision to bridge the technology gap for businesses in East Africa, Ogaal Solutions began as a specialized Odoo ERP consultancy. ERP and ICT consulting remain our primary focus — but we quickly saw that clients also needed trustworthy accounting, audit, and advisory support alongside their systems.
From our first Odoo implementation for a local trading company to delivering AI solutions for financial institutions and independent audits for NGOs, we've built a practice that connects technology with compliant finance. Our growth is driven by one principle: understand each client's operational and financial challenges, then deliver integrated solutions that create measurable impact.

Yasin M. Ibar
Chairman
Mr. Yasin Ibar is the Chairman of Ogaal Solutions, a Director of the Somali Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a Board Member of the Somali Institute of Certified Public Accountants (SICPA). He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). With over 15 years of experience across Somalia’s public and private sectors, Mr. Yasin has developed strong expertise in auditing, financial advisory, institutional development, public financial management, and private-sector growth. He has led audit and advisory engagements, supported the establishment of accounting and internal audit functions for SMEs, and advised organizations on financial governance, internal controls, and institutional strengthening. He has also contributed to initiatives supporting Somalia’s economic development and state-building agenda, particularly through strengthening private-sector institutions and promoting sound financial management practices. In addition to his professional and leadership roles, Mr. Yasin is a researcher in Economics and Finance, with particular interests in contemporary Islamic economics, public financial management, financial governance, and private-sector development. As Chairman of Ogaal Solutions, he provides strategic leadership and governance oversight, supporting the company’s growth and its contribution to stronger, more competitive, and professionally managed institutions.

Amina Abdirahman
Co-founder and Managing Partner
Amina is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Ogaal Solutions. She leads the firm’s strategy, operations and client service delivery, bringing together accounting, audit, business advisory and technology expertise to help organisations improve financial management and operational performance. With more than 12 years of experience across public institutions, private businesses and development organisations, Amina’s work spans financial governance, institutional reform, ERP implementation and capacity building. Her career also includes economic development advisory work at Somalia’s Office of the Prime Minister and senior roles in the aviation sector. Amina is an ACCA member, holds the CPA (R) designation and earned an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. She also serves as a member of the Pan African Federation of Accountants’ Accountancy Quality Advisory Group, whose mandate supports stronger accountancy quality across Africa.

Fatima Mohamed
Senior Partner
Fatima Mohamed Mohamud is a Senior Partner at Ogaal Solutions, specialising in audit and assurance, financial governance, business valuation and internal control assessment. She leads client engagements and oversees audit quality, helping organisations strengthen financial reporting, address control weaknesses and improve accountability. Her experience spans private businesses, public institutions and development programmes, including roles with UNOPS Somalia, the Upper House of the Somali Federal Parliament and SIMAD University. Her engagement portfolio includes audits of financial institutions and business groups, alongside institutional control assessments. Fatima is an ACCA member and Certified IPSAS professional. She holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Nairobi, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Somali National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SIMAD University.
